We all know Glen Stenson, WWII Veteran, The American Legion
Past Commander, Forty & Eight State and Nationale Officer,
always active in the Community. During the war Glen served in the
Pacific as hospital corpsman. Glen and Mart were invited to a very special
occasion, observing the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl
Harbor by Japan, December 7, 1941. They flew to Dallas, Texas,
where more than 60 WWII Veterans and escorts attended a Banquet in
their honor. From there they flew to Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. American
Airlines and the Best Defense Foundation arranged the trip to honor
the service and sacrifice of these 63 World War II veterans.
