The American Legion Centennial year is complete and with many and various accomplishments. A sincere thank you to everyone who helped ensure the American Legion Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post 1 is the number one post in Colorado.
Our Auxiliary celebrated their birthday in November with numerous accomplishments. Unit 1 completed the acquisition and donation of the Fitzsimons Van and the van is now in use. Congratulations and thanks to our Auxiliary for all of their endeavors toward completion of this work.
In 2020 the Forty and Eight will celebrate their
100 years of outstanding commitment to supporting our charitable and patriotic goals. We are looking forward to their continual good works and support at Post 1.

session. Deb Davis is serving as our Girls State Committee Chairman.
would like to remind all SAL members that your membership has a
responsibility to help. It is not simply an organization for
socialization (which is a great by-product),
but in following through with the goal of the SAL. Please mark
your calendars for the third Saturday of each month at 12 noon and bring your ideas and support as part of that responsibility. Every member can help in some way.
